"We really loved this property. Location: it is a little out of the town, not by much but it is a steep hill to climb, so if you don't like a bit of a walk this is not the place for you. It has 2 access points, 1 by vehicle and 1 by foot. We read reviews about the vehicle access being concerning if you didnt have a 4v4. We had a Yaris and managed just fine. "Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. Lots of monkeys, and beautiful birdwatching. 253 steps down to a secluded beach where we had breakfast and we’re given various choices of cuisine. Isla Tortuga was awesome with Juan as a guide. "The grounds were beautiful. Great community area (use of the kitchen too!) and pool. The owner was wonderful and very helpful. Right across from the ocean. If you go during the hottest months, be aware that the cabins have 3 mesh walls. We did not find this as a problem since there were 2 fans and quite comfortable in the evenings. Really, who spends too much time in their room on vacation anyway. That aside, the cabins are quite comfortable and have nice decks with hammocks."

"Federico was the perfect host. The accommodations was very nice and clean and spa like.The surrounding area was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was available and was very good. Staff were nice and very helpful. Close to Tarcoles Bridge and Carrara National Park. Great opportunity to see birds and monkeys.I would highly recommend. Also the host went above and beyond to assist. I would definitely go back."
