choose a different hotel, run away from this place
Upon check in the room reserved was not available. I was placed in a room with 2 beds not the single bed as booked. The safe was on end in the closet. No shelves in the closet. Dry wall dust from repairs all over the floor in the closet and bathroom. Water leaking behind the tiles in shower coming our the wall corners. Electrical wires hanging on bathroom mirror. Privacy eye hole in door missing you can see straight into the bed from hallway. Light bulbs missing in bedroom lamp. Light switches and outlets missing by beds with exposed wires. DO NOT STAY HERE

The first room I was put into had a strong enough sewage-like smell to make me opt for relocation to another room - which was easy in my case. The 2nd room was better but the smell still came and went. Some of the staff was kind of friendly while some seemed a bit impolite. It was easy getting to the shopping/attractions from the hotel. Overall it wasn't a bad stay but there definitely are a few things that should change for the better.

Nice location near restaurants, pharmacies, etc. Room AC pretty cold, the only complaint is no dresser to put clothes on. Had closet to hang clothes, other than that had to keep clothes in luggage and the closet is not big enough to put luggage’s in.

They were renovating so started hammering at 7 am. Also 4th floor was loud as all the cleaning crew gathered there every morning. Great price and good breakfast - just loud during renovation.

Front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great that breakfast was included, one less expense for the trip. Cleaning staff didn’t really dust off beds they were just made. They did clean everything else well. Wish that towels were changed. The property has a lot of maintenance to be done, the floor boards are lifted, moldy walls, room doors have holes, shower heads spurting water, and holes in the walls. The surrounding area feels safe and so many options to eat and drink is a plus. In overall I would love to stay again if I return but things need to be fixed.

The good: great location in a walkable area. The hotel is located on a street full of restaurants, near a park and 5-10 minutes from a metro station. The staff is amazing! Every single person we interacted with during a one-week stay was nothing short of great. The not so good: this property needs a lot of work, especially on little details. There are no blackout curtains (or any curtains for that matter), so there is no way to keep the room dark. The toilet paper holder was broken. For some reason, there were two hair driers, which is not exactly bad, but looks sloppy and takes away from the counter space. There was a permanent leak in the hallway outside our room, and the smell in our room made us believe there was some water damage that the hotel tried to quickly fix, but didn’t do a great job of it. (They did an okay job masking the smell with a scent plug-in, but I am unfortunately allergic, so had to remove it and try to deal with the smell instead.)

The staff were very helpful! The language barrier was easy to overcome. The hotel rooms are pretty small, but that just means no space is wasted! Breakfast was amazing every morning. The pool is pretty shallow, but it serves the needs for sunbathing and cooling off.

Simple room.
The air conditioning, shower and bed were outstanding. The room had no decor. It had a table with 2 mismatched chairs and a refrigerator. The toilet had a door yet the shower had a clear glass. The safe was not bolted down.if someone is taking a shower and you go the the toilet, you will see them showering. Few parking spaces onsite, but always parking out front. The location is great, you can walk practically everywhere in Obarrio.

I was welcomed by roaches in the room the first day! When I reported it to the cleaning staff they told me they would “let the supervisor know”. This was not acceptable so I informed a different staff member who said they would “take care of it” and later showed up with a spray. They sprayed around the door frame where there were 6-7 roaches, but a day later I saw another one between the beds. A different staff member at the reception desk apologized and said the roach problem was “due to construction near by”. I wanted to leave and go to another hotel but this was not possible and the entire time I was worry that I would return home with roaches in my bags!!!
