"The reception staff were beyond kind, which was an extremely refreshing greeting upon arrival, after having to leave our previous accommodation due to negligence. We booked The Boathouse Apartments, and arrived within the hour - and the staff had already ensured that all nuts, and nut products had been removed from the room (anaphylaxis) They were always friendly, the apartment was immaculate, as well as the spa, pool, and general public areas/walkways were spotless. "The property is clean but dated. Even though the town is close, the walk is either up or downhill. I’m surprised the town doesn’t have better stairs or sidewalks to walk to the various beaches and areas. Cabs and UBER are available. "

"Beautiful property with amazing views. Note that it is set on a hillside with steep driveway or lots of steps. Use of a car would be a definite advantage. No nearby grocery store. Fantastic accommodation, spacious with great facilities. "

"Location is fantastic with beautiful views. Everything is pretty much within walking distance or cheap taxi fare. Francine & Paul are lovely property managers who go out of their way to help."

"The property is in a great position and I would definitely return. We stayed 9 nights. Our unit does need some TLC . Toilet sister needs work. Floors need a really good clean, especially bathroom. Had to buy several things to get thru. Was scared to use frying pan as handle so wobbly, so bought one. Even a wooden spoon would have been handy. We will return, but would bring more from home next time."

"Had an enjoyable 4 nights and found the place clean and comfortable. The pools are fantastic. I was apprehensive about the dining options but the food tasted absolutely amazing at the two restaurants. We had one night where the emergency alarms went off at least 5 times that we heard. However when asleep it is hard to hear the alarms inside the room. Which wouldn’t be good in an emergency. Staff were all friendly and helpful. It would be great if there was another option of getting to and from...

"Wow I was only there for one night and arrived around 7:30pm and left by 7am however I have to say the room was absolutely spotless. Like every square inch of the triple room and bathroom was immaculate and was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed at. Very impressed. Will stay again in future"

"Tidy, clean, well maintained. Two dining options, both are very good. So many options for activities and with a choice of several pools you never feel crowded. Lots of bar options and the aquariums are amazing. Great room and views. Transport was very well managed and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We loved it."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Airlie Beach Hotel. The staff were friendly and we especially loved the pool. It’s in a great location - walking distance from everything you want/need. The rooms were clean, the beds were cozy, and the air conditioning was a God send. We would definitely stay here again as it truly looked like the best option out of all on the strip."
