"The Colony definitely has a vibe to it. Plenty of activity in the lobby and around the pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. My particular room was awful, as it was located behind the elevator and the bathroom was tiny, with peeling wallpaper and pretty dirty overall. I had asked to get in my room early, so I think this was their way of teaching me not to do so again. Have stayed there in the past and never had an issue with a room. Will try the Palm House Hotel next time as it is...

"The hotel was chic and upscale. There wasn’t much lobby space to relax. And the pool had no open chairs most of the time. The restaurant didn’t offer snacks or apps between meals. Location was good. Overall I think this hotel should be priced much lower than it was. "

"We stayed at the studio villas in Pompano. Overall, the suite was beautifully decorated. The parking is a bit frustrating after hours but the safety attendants were available to help with that. The property was impeccably clean and the service was overall great. Food was subpar but having a refrigerator and restaurants made up for that. Overall great property.
