"It was a nice quite property with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has its own shuttle service that can take you to Funchal but also across the street is public bus that is more frequent. Close by is also a swimming area as well as snorkeling equipment rental that you could get to jump in the ocean. The property has nice clean pools, sauna, spa and hammam which we really enjoy. "

"The staff was so kind and the property looks on the beautiful cliffs of Madeira. We loved being able to use the Galosol pool, this was definitely a highlight. There are many restaurants within walking distance and parking is very inexpensive and easy in front. Nice to be away from the city but still close to visit as needed, would recommend for a relaxing stay!"

"We enjoyed the stay hotel was located in the town centre with plenty space, and conveniently located close to everything. Lovely staff special shout out to Sid, being so helpful. However, our room was facing street often get woke up by the traffic. They had Christmas party at roof top was sooo loud with none stop music at 3am. "Excellent boutique hotel with very good food in an excellent location in Funchal with easy access to restaurants and bars. The decor was great. The only small criticisms are that there is nowhere to put clothes (drawers or wardrobes) in the room and some of the breakfast servers were a slow at serving, otherwise excellent."

"This is an excellent hotel, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Madeira. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, everything is extremely clean, the breakfast is delicious with lots of choice. The room was big, tastefully decorated and well equipped with a comfy bed. The hotel is set in a botanic garden that’s a wonderful oasis and so relaxing. There is a great pool and other leisure facilities. There is also a tortoise. What more could you want? Look no further - stay here! "
