Casa Riccio is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. The room was always clean, well-lit, light and airy. The hostess and host were friendly and very helpful. They were always available for advice about places to see and how to get there. It is close to transportation and major shopping and sights. It was truly a pleasure to stay there. I highly recommend Casa Riccio as a wonderful place to stay.

Good location - B&B NOT a hotel
A private bathroom was advertised, this turned out to mean we had sole use of a bathroom across the corridor, we were not expecting this. The owners refer to this place as a B&B, however we were expecting a hotel. The breakfast is great if you have a sweet tooth as everything is exceptionally sweet, no cheese or sliced meats That said, the location for us was great, 30 mins walk to the place & cathedral, owners were very friendly and helpful

A Quaint Place To Stay
This is a terrific buy with historic charm. The host, Anna, is very helpful and wants to make sure your needs are met. Comes with breakfast and no charge for WiFi. It also was modernized but still carries charm. A very special place to stay on the top floor of a residential building near the Nortabartolo Train Station. Don't pass this one up.

This is a charming hotel pretty well located.
The owners of the hotels are running it in a very friendly way to the customers. They are keen about your well being and your safety and this is an immense plus.

Avoid at all cost! Stay somewhere else.
We booked four nights at Casa Riccio - the inital arrival was difficult as the host wanted to know the exact time of our arrival (and charges extra 15 Euros for late arrival). The stay was incredibly disappointing. We stayed with 9 university students who were the other guests. They were noisy and not accomodating at all. The host should inform people if she has long term guests who treat the B&B like home. We were offered breakfast with the booking, however when we arrived this was not honoured. After a disagreement with the host about the breakfast she agreed to include breakfast, however on the second day of our stay we were not offered breakfast as asked to pay for the first breakfast. This made for a very uncomfortable stay. We also requested two beds and were only provided with one on arrival. The bathroom is also not ensuite. Wifi is not great. The hosts are not accomodating at all, and require payment for everything (including tea, coffee, late check-in). Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Far from the city centre, in a very old building. If you can stay anywhere else, I suggest you do so. Very disappointing indeed. :(

B&B with a great view
The Riccios run a B&B that has 6 rooms for guests. Located on the 10th floor of an apartment building, it has sweeping views from its verandah across the city and down to the port. The Riccios are hospitable and helpful. The breakfast is distinctly Sicilian with an emphasis on Sicilian pastries and fresh orange juice. The bed was OK and the shower could have functioned better. Overall, well located and well hosted.

B&B in downtown Palermo, 10 minutes walk from the heart of the city. Located on the top floor of a 10-storey building, superb view on the city from the balcony and the rooms. Friendly owners live next door.

Awesome place, clean and a good location. Besides that mrs Riccio was extremely accomodating: she picked us up from the bus stop, provided us with all the information we needed and was the perfect host.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft unweit der Altstadt. Die Besitzerin ist sehr aufmerksam, hat uns immer Tips für Besichtigungen, Busverbindungen und alles andere gegeben. Die Aussicht vom Balkon über Stadt, Meer und Berge ist traumhaft. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können Casa Riccio nur weiter empfehlen.

Location ottima personale squisito.
Casa Riccio si trova all'ultimo piano di uno dei palazzi più alti della città, dalla sua terrazza panoramica quasi nulla intralcerà la vostra vista che potrà spaziare su tutta la città fino al mare; tuttavia la parte migliore della struttura sono i signori Riccio, sempre disponibili ci hanno consigliato cosa visitare, che mezzi prendere e tanto altro ancora. Tutte le mattine ci siamo seduti con loro a colazione per chiacchierare sulla nostra giornata. Consiglio assolutamente la struttura.

Anna nous accueille presque comme des amis, très discrète et aux petits soins. Les chambres, très propres mais salle de bain (une par chambre) mais dans le couloir. On peut être surpris par cette conception d'hôtel, en effet il se trouve au 10 e étage d'un immeuble avec une vue magnifique sur Palerme, mais pour nous est plus proche de la chambre d'hôte. Ça ne lui enlevé pas on côté pratique de l'hôtel. Nous nous sommes senti très bien. Merci Anna, Rosanna, Hugo

Super accueil et chambre confortable
On a été très bien accueilli depuis notre arrivée jusqu'au départ. Le petit déjeuné était excellent et convivial. La chambre était confortable, avec un salle de bain privée, très propre. Nous avons pu découvrir la ville grace aux supers conseils et recommandations de nos charmants hotes, que nous remercions et qui ont égayé notre séjour.

Nettes B&B mit toller Aussicht und guter Lage
Wir sind (wie vom Management der Casa Riccio empfohlen) sehr unkompliziert vom Flughafen Palermo mit einem shared Taxi (7€ pP) angereist. Dort wurden wir, wie vorab vereinbart, von Rosanna in Empfang genommen. Sie ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, spricht hervorragend englisch und hat uns gleich ein paar Tipps zur Stadt gegeben (Restaurants, Märkte, Busse, Züge, Strände, Sightseeing,...). Die Zimmer haben eine angemessene Größe und sind sehr sauber. Natürlich ist das Interieur nicht mehr das neueste, aber so ist Palermo eben. Diesen speziellen Charme muss man mögen bzw sollte man sich einfach darauf einlassen. Das WLAN hat sehr gut funktioniert und auch die Klimaanlage war in Ordnung. Die Unterkunft befindet sich im 10. Stock und bietet von der schönen Terrasse einen beeindruckenden Blick über Stadt, Meer und Berge. Das Frühstück ist palermitanisch/Italienisch, dh sehr süß, was für Nordeuropäer durchaus gewöhnungsbedürftig sein kann. Wer gut und günstig bei netten Menschen leben will, der hat hier die richtige Unterkunft gefunden.

Hotel confortable et chaleureux
Nous avons séjourné une semaine à Palerme à l'hotel casa riccio. Ce fut un séjour très agréable. L'hotel est bien situé dans la ville. Le personnel est très accueillant et disponible pour toute demande. La chambre fut très confortable et l'hotel est très propre. Nous avions une chambre qui donnait accès à une grande terrasse, accessible à tous, avec une superbe vue panoramique de la capitale. Le matin le petit déjeuner est compris dans le prix. Nous recommandons donc cet hotel qui nous a donné entière satisfaction tant au niveau de la qualité que du prix.

B&B grazioso
Grazioso B&B con una splendida vista sul porto. Pulito, personale cortese e abbastanza centrale (7/8 minuti a piedi dal centro). Unico difetto, alle 7:30 suonano le campane della chiesa accanto che ti svegliano anche se vuoi dormire un altro po' ma in sostanza lo consiglio.

Vista spettacolare e simpatia
Siamo arrivati intorno a mezzanotte dopo che la signora Anna e suo marito molto gentilmente sono venuti a prenderci alla fermata dell'autobus da Punta Raisi. La prima impressione, confermata in seguito, è stata di grande disponibilità e accoglienza. Se lo scopo era quello di far sentire a proprio agio, le signore Anna e Rosanna ci sono riuscite in pieno. La stanza pulita e confortevole con un balconcino con vista mozzafiato sulla città e il porto. I loro consigli e le loro informazioni sulla città sono stati molto utili. La colazione mattutina: capuccino con dolci tipici palermitani, è stata da noi molto apprezzata. Ringraziamo per il soggiorno piacevole e interessante a Palermo.

BEL B&B A DUE PASSI DAL CENTRO DI PALERMO
Abbiamo soggiornato in questa piacevolissima casa nelle vicinanze del centro di Palermo il primo e l'ultimo giorno di un tour nella sicilia occidentale; non si tratta di una struttura in evidenza al piano strada, ma di un appartamento attico al 10° piano, da cui si gode di una vista fantastica della città e del mare. Siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza dalla proprietaria, la sig.ra Anna, e dalla sg.ra Rosanna, che si sono fatte in quattro per rendere il nostro soggiorno confortevole (ragguardevole la colazione alla mattina con dolci locali). Massima libertà durante il giorno (ci hanno lasciato le chiavi di casa per tutta la settimana) e nel godimento degli spazi comuni. Che dire? come stare a casa in un ambiente informale con il vantaggio di essere coccolati. Ci torneremo senz'altro al nostro prossimo viaggio in Sicilia. Consigliabilissimo!
