"Charming hosts. Best to have some words of Italian or at least functioning Google Translate for your visit; Elena also speaks French which was helpful! Old-fashioned and pleasant stone rooms at a good price, lovely views and ability to have breakfast/lunch/dinner on the premises, very good local cuisine. Ideally you would come with your own car as exploring locally by foot is not really an option, too remote. But in a car, great!"

"We arrived at the B&B, La Dimora Di Segesta, after having to make a last minute booking because we were left without a place to stay due to the B&B booked months ago was closed. Roberto was so helpful and soon arrived at the B&B after we called him to tell him the situation we were in. After using his WiFi to sort out the bookings he showed us the room, which was very clean, tidy and in excellent condition. "We were delighted with our choice of Marina Di Petrolo. The hotel is bright, smart and very clean. Our family room for my wife, daughter and I was a very good size, nicely decorated and smart. The staff were so nice and friendly at all times, and were always willing to help. We were grateful for the wonderful room cleaning staff who tidied and cleaned our rooms every day. There was an excellent Italian breakfast option every day, including freshly-made coffee of your choice. The location is not completely central but all the main areas of the town are easily accessible by foot, which is better to do anyway! Nevertheless there's a spectacular view of the bay from both the breakfast room and our own room. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was winter, but it looked nice. It would have been nice to have had the option to have meals other than breakfast, but it wasn't difficult to find other places around town (including a terrific pizza delivery place directly opposite!). We would love to come back to Sicily and if we are in this part of the island, Marina di Petrolo will be a definite place to revisit."
