"Beautiful and historical property in the center of Barcelona. Lacking some amenities and level of service that we would expect from a 5 star hotel, particularly from the Relais & Chateaux group. Running out of hot water after 1 person showers (10 min) is unacceptable. 2 out of 5 days the “please make up our room” sign got “flipped” and the room was not cleaned. "We stayed 3 days before our cruise and 4 days after. The friendliest hotel I have been! Melina, Jacinto, Laura and Sergio at front desk were beyond words. From recommending beauty salon to restaurants and tours to take. Amin and Mohammed at the door always greeting you with a big smile. This is the only hotel I will come back in Barcelona they were just AWSOME. Adding breakfast is a la carte and simply WONDERFUL!"

"Stayed in the Junior Suite Deluxe on the historic side with a nice street view and spacious design. The bed was very comfortable, but the room could use an update. Breakfast was good but limited in hot options. If you're staying more than three days, the breakfast may feel repetitive, so the extra cost might not be worth it."

"The staff are very helpful and accomodating. The property is perfect to what we wanted. In the center of the places where we want to visit. The reception area, lounging are stylish and uniquely decorated. Love the sofas there. The room is clean and has enough space for us to walk around. But the we cannot adjust the heater, too hot in the room. When we asked for the setting, they just said it is set that way.... "
