"**This hotel is above in the same building as a bus terminal** To enter the hotel you walk through the bus terminal waiting room. The picture of the exterior of the hotel is where the busses are parked and pick up passengers. You can hear bus noises and hallway noise. "The hotel was beautiful! The restaurant had amazing food, the service was great and everyone was friendly. I had a room close to the stadium/main street above the pool with a patio overlooking all the action. The street noise was loud. I acquired ear plugs and had no issues. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Our stay at this hostel was good, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a 1 bunk bedroom and the area was clean (including the bathroom). The staff even took care of our luggage for a couple of hours while we came back from a trip. Our only complaints are that the shower barely had any pressure, one of the lockers didn't close, and that the window was open when we arrived, so the room had mosquitoes inside. "It took them 30 minutes to give me a room. Then they gave me a room where there were already people in it and I had to go down to complain and get an empty one. This has never happened to me before. It was a bad experience. I do not recommend it"

Should be described as "Colonial" or Victorian" as opposed to "Antique" because it has a very nice feel and comfort to it and not an old, boring one. Located in a perfect location. Will return soon. "El Meson is a quaint basic little hotel. It’s centrally situated at the south of el Centro and convenient to the city. It’s a bit rustic but very nice. In the lower level is a restaurant offering a discount to residents. It offers clean rooms, shower, daily maid service and friendly staff. If you want basic amenities, I give el meson my top rating. "
