"Our experience with ‘Moongate villa’ was disappointing because on our 2nd day, some building works began next door which woke us up at 8.00am in the morning and the cement pouring and flattening machines started working. It’s no exaggeration to say that the whole of our building vibrated to the machines being used. As for the noise all of this created, it was horrendous! The owners of ‘Moongate villa’ agreed to give us 1 x night free of charge. Please confirm that you can refund us this back...

"The Manager was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The Motel was in easy walking distance to the Russell shops and wharf so we could just leave our car parked there. My Granddaughter loved the swimming pool. The only minor issue was the wardrobe was quite narrow so the clothes had to go in on an angle, but it wasn't that big of a problem as they could still hang up. We would definitely go back to stay there."

"The Motel itself and staff were excellent. The room was really clean and comfortable for the two of us. Pool and hot tub were great. The shower was fab! A little bit of noise in the mornings from the road but nothing much to worry about. Easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pier. Side note- was nothing to do with the motel and they have complained about it but one of the nights there was a group of youths on the beach with their cars and loud music which went on till 4/5am. Apparently the council and police are not prepared to do anything about it. Not the motels fault and I have a lot of sympathy for the local businesses"
