"Great place for a family Christmas! Staff was awesome! Very friendly and helpful, big shout out to Rene Lizola and Lulu Rivera who made the buffet amazing every night! One thing that was tough for a family with teenagers is the room is very open concept…. No bathroom privacy besides that incredible, would definitely go back. "

"Fun activities. I like how no reservations were required for the restaurants, you just had to wait. Portion sizes in most of the restaurants were small so you need to order several dishes. Some of the shows were good. Service was pretty good but not excellent. The buffet needed more food options. "

"The hotel is old but care has been taken to ensure important features are maintained. The rooms are lovely with incredible views. The employees were very friendly and responsive, doing their best to understand our needs even though we did not speak Spanish. The pools and private beach were fantastic with great service. The buffet food was okay although I wished there was more focus on Mexican cuisine. The only reason I would not necessarily recommend this property to everyone is that it's not...

"The property was excellent. The food was lovely. The front desk staff was not friendly. One staff named Brenda was the only nice staff that helped us. The cleaning staff was also very nice. The front desk needs training on how to deal with people of different cultures and languages. "

"The Zona Romántica is a short drive by taxi down the hill but this lovely property sits at the summit, well above all the hustle, bustle and NOISE! The views from the rooms over the Bahía de Banderas are spectacular. "

"The area can seem a bit sketchy, but it’s a great location. Nice local food vendors, convenient store, pharmacy, coffee shops, mall and money exchange all in walking distance. Staff was friendly in assisting with tours and transportation. I didn’t get an opportunity to dine in their restaurant, but I had a Paloma which was outstanding. The room was a nice size for a couple and we had a decent view. Tv had a great selection of channels. I do feel the walls were a bit thin and could hear others talking. Other than that our housekeeper did a great job keeping our room neat and had fresh towels for us. Would recommend for and would return here."

"The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool, especially at sunset. The walk to the beach isn’t too bad, but since you have to go through the other resort, there aren’t areas where you can sit and order food as they belong to the surrounding all-inclusive resorts (unless you pay a day fee). The hotel as a whole is great and we’d stay there again. "
