"Situated in the heart of the Karon hilly areas this beautiful hotel offers all the convenience of walking distance to the shops, restaurants and beaches. Tasty breakfast and nicely decorated rooms and 5 smaller swimming pools with bars in them are very inviting and relaxing for everyone seeking comfort and pleasure. Well equipped gym is also a plus. Staff is really pleasant and friendly willing to help at any time. The only thing is you should be prepared to walk tens of steep steps to your room. Better be fit. Loved it here."

That said, the setting is so remarkable that food becomes a secondary concern — you’re too busy soaking in the beauty around you. There was one room service staff member who seemed consistently grumpy, but in a way it became a bit of a running joke for us — it added character to the place rather than taking anything away. From start to finish, the experience was flawless, deeply inspiring, and unlike any other.
