"This was a very nice ryokan, with polite and courteous staff. The location was very good, only a 10-minute walk from the train station, and one of the main Shinto shrines (Geku Jingo) in the area. The place was very quite and peaceful, and decorated with beautiful Japanese prints and fresh flowers. "Service is good. From the reception to the bell boy to the restaurant staff. The male manager at the breakfast reception is always bright and courteous every morning. Club room is super worth it since there’s food throughout the day with yummy cheesecakes etc. There’s even free flow liquor available. The club room is pretty and nicely renovated. We loved our stay at TOBA we stayed 3 nights"

"Property was very much a traditional Japanese hotel. Felt good to enjoy such a hotel with a Japanese architectural design throughout the property and each room down to an onsen in each room. Additionally, the inner sanctuary was within walking distance. Highl6 recommend this hotel and property!"

"The breakfast was fantastic. The common bath was great for relaxation at the end of the day. The owner of the place, despite not speaking much English, was very helpful and there was pick up service from the train station. Only thing is that if you arrive later than 20:00 there won't be much happening around the area, nor there are anywhere to eat, which should be paid attention to as Ise is famous for its gourmet experience so you don't want to end up wasting your dinner chance at s convenient...

"Location : around 10 min walk from the JR/kintetsu station. It is flat road all along. Okay with the luggage. Walking distance to local restaurants. "コロナウイルスの心配のためにバス旅行をキャンセルし、急遽、自家用車での旅行に切り替えて、慌てて予約しました。伊勢神宮から車で15分くらいでしょうか、静かなところにあり、落ちつきました。雨がよく降ったので、靴がぐっしょり濡れたのですが、ホテル玄関にタオルと古新聞が置かれていて、お陰で靴を乾かすことができました。温泉の泉質がとてもよく合い、お肌はツルツル、疲れも取れました。夕食は丁寧に作られた美味しいお料理でした。テーブル担当の方が説明しながら順番に運んで下さいました。朝食は大変品数が多いビュッフェ形式でたっぷりいただきました。お部屋の広さもちょうどよく、お布団も清潔で気持ちよく休めました。卓球ができたのも楽しい思い出となりましたなりました。"

"Very limited seats at the breakfast area so we (4pax) cannot sit together. Suggests that the hotel allows to choose the time slots for breakfast like other hotels to control the crowd. The breakfast is simple but delicious. The room is also spacious and plenty parking space. Will choose this hotel if we visit this place again. "

"This hotel gave us a surprise if its room size which is bigger than expected. There are also chairs with coffee table in the room which is rare in most of the hotel rooms in Japan. Hotel’s breakfast is fantastic and hotel owner is really putting lots of efforts and heart in its hospitality to all guests."

Great place to stay, very convenient

"This is a great place to stay in Ise, where there is a limited selection of hotels. Very close to the railway station and the outer shrine, short bus ride to the outer shrine. Its not fancy but offers good clean accommodation at a very reasonable price if booked well enough in advance. It was my second stay and I would choose this place again if I sent there again."
