It’s lobby, restaurant and bar echo the property’s 120 year history, with updated and crisp bedrooms, efficient and friendly personnel, and an unbeatable location in terms of access to the rest of the city. Bedrooms very a lot. Some are significantly larger than others, so it’s worth making sure you’re getting what you want. "

"The room was beautiful and cosy. My husbands lived in Hamburg in the past and he really loved the view of the Speicherstadt from our room. The super comfy beds were a treat too. Only downsides are it’s a bit further from the town centre and ubahn which we knew at the time of booking so we walked to most places. We arrived on the weekend with a car and there was not really a convenient drop off location. Parking nearby was quite expensive. I would’ve liked a kettle or coffee machine that dispensed hot water too but that doesn’t seem to be common in hotel rooms in Germany from what I’ve noticed. "

"We went to Hamburg for a family weekend and stayed for 3 nights. Villa Viva was perfect for us with walking distance to most and safe neighborhood. It was fairly quiet and the breakfast was healthy. My kids missed the bacon. The room we had was large and there is no TV which allowed us more time to talk. WiFi was great! "
