"To be completely honest we were put into a different house but it was so much better than we expected. The hosts were amazing, so friendly and accommodating. We even did a cooking class with Nabila and it was just so wonderful. In my opinion the location doesn't be really matter in Fes as you would be guaranteed to get lost anyway."

"Beautiful traditional guest house in the heart of the Fez medina. A couple minutes walk from the blue gate. Easy to find even though inside the maze that is the medina. The staff was very nice and helpful. They found us guides, transportation, restaurants and a hamam nearby that was delightful. They even served us a traditional (and delicious) morrocan breakfast. "2nd time staying here, perfect hotel, clean, quiet, beautiful room, comfortable bed, good food especially Friday special cous cous was delicious just like homemade and Moroccan dessert was also delicious. One negative: not a good experience at the spa- the steam room didn’t work properly, which is the whole point of hammam- you need to spend time in the hot steam room before the scrub for the best results. And when I tried to tell that to the attendant- she wouldn’t even listen and denied that anything was wrong with the steam! That was really upsetting!!!"

"In a lifetime of traveling, this was a truly standout experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and makes you feel transported to a magical time. The service is next level. Hussaini knows the city better than anyone and will show you the religious sites and you will feel like old friends with the local craftsman that you meet like him. There are many amazing options outside the city, but if you want to see the beauty of the Middle Atlas Mountains, Hassan is your man. Yacine is another amazing staff member who procured me a large bag to bring back everything that I had bought, including a gorgeous traditional Berber carpet and Tagine made in front of my eyes. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Stay here for the experience of a lifetime through customer service that you won’t find anywhere else."

Great service and location.

"From our arrival to departure, the staff at Riad Braya provided outstanding service. We were able to check in early and welcomed with rose scented hand towels, mint tea and an assortment of delicious biscuits. Our room was large and very comfortable with lots of drawers and hanging space. Breakfast was filling with a range of options and good coffee. The rooftop terrace provided a panoramic view of Fes as well as comfortable loungers. Some reviews have complained about the smell from the bathroom- yes there are smells but the modern doors between the bedroom and bathroom prevent it spreading plus it is not strong or constant and as the manager has commented, is to be expected in an ancient building. We particularly appreciated having one staff member help with our luggage and taxi when we were leaving. A huge thank you to Tariq who helped us with a tour operator, Ayoub and Mohammed for your outstanding hospitality."

"This is a beautiful Riad. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and absolutely beautiful. We loved the Moroccan breakfast which included a homemade sweet potato spread that was delicious with bread. Highly recommend staying here when in Fes. "
