Beautiful room and pool. Easy walk to lake and village. Staff very friendly and willing to help but we would have appreciated some details in the room about organisational issues eg that water would not be replaced in the room but was readily available at the bar.
Would definitely recommend hotel for a quiet, restful break.
A special place we went back to by nostalgia
Just 1 hick
We went out for dinner once and when we came back the entrance door of the reception was locked...by chance we saw another sideway we took which took us inside the property...
But a charming place and nice furniture .
Staff very nice thank you
Television in the bedroom not working but they are in the mountains..so we can expect this...
Some of the damages from the earthquake are visible but the team is working on the restoration. It might be the low before the busy Christmas holiday so the hotel appears understaff. But the staff were attentive to issues such as the lack of hot water in one of the nights.
Very very nice place to stay but no functioning internet which is quite frustrating.

Peaceful hotel, excellent spa
Hotel is past its prime, but still charming in a great location with excellent staff and a superb hammam. Only real negative is the food. Evening meal is a set 3 course menu with limited choice from mediocre dishes.
This place was heavenly. In the middle of nowhere in about sixty acres of beautiful tropical gardens. The staff were incredible and went out of their way to help in any way they can. The rooms are in their own buildings in the grounds giving a wonderful sense of privacy. The bed was the most comfortable I have stayed in in any hotel in the world. There were three pools - the health suite is currently shut since Covid, but is situated in large building in the grounds. The breakfasts were delicious and the food plentiful.
Very beautiful area - guides can be hired to tour the Atlas Mountains from the hotel, (this was an incredible experience) and there are stables, if horseback is preferred.
An oasis of beautiful calm - thoroughly recommend if you want somewhere isolated where you can totally unwind.

This is a beautiful place in a lovely valley. The gardens are spectacular and the spa has great massages. some lovely hikes just outside the property and stables if you want to horse ride.
On the negative side, we got double charged as the reception insisted that despite prepayment with Hotels.com that we pay in cash upon check out in the hotel So we are now trying to sort out a refund which is a bit of a hassle. So for future guests, I would suggest you ensure that you clear this issue up upon checkin to avoid this problem
Second issue we had was they provided wood for the fire which was great but I don't think they had swept the chimney in ages. The result was that the smoke just went into the room, making it hard to breathe and stinging the eyes. We eventually managed to put the fire out but the whole room and all our clothes smelled badly of smoke.
Despite the above we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place
The beautiful grounds and setting are what makes this place special and it’s a wonderful getaway from Marrakech. We found the service to be spotty with some staff aloof and unfriendly while others quite friendly. We don’t speak French and that didn’t help. On arrival we asked to switch our room from one which, though large, was dark and a bit musty. That wasn’t a problem and we moved upstairs to a brighter room. We didn’t have any sort of orientation to the property on arrival and figured out where things were by ourselves. We never discovered where to find the pool towels! The food was decent but nothing special. We did a 7 mile hike with a local guide up to a Berber village which we enjoyed. Again, there wasn’t much information in advance about the hike. We’d stay there again as it’s a beautiful and relaxing place to be but they could work on improving their service and food. It wouldn’t take much to make this place amazing.
The marvellous gardens, the style, the attention to detail, tasteful touches all combined with a welcoming, helpful staff team (who were good fun) - just AMAZING. I have to mention our tour guide, Charif, who was a mine of local knowledge. So relaxing - thank you.

Great family weekend
The grounds of the hotel are fabulous. We took a room that was as if suspended in the trees overlooking the valley. My 3 year old loved the gardens and visiting the horses even if we didn’t ride.
