Hotel leer, klein Klingeln, kein Klopfen, selbst anrufen hilft nicht, Rezeption soll bis 20:00 besetzt sein. Als Taschenlampe raus und in den Innenhof, Suche nach offner Tür...Endlich. Entdecke Rezeptionistin in der Küche: "Ich war noch grad einkaufen...die Geschäfte machen ja um 20:00 zu..."Hmmm. Haus alt, Zimmer alt, zusammengewürfelt. "Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."

"Tolles Zimmer in einem alten Haus. Sehr ruhig, man hört nur das Plätschern des Flusses. 1 Minute zu Fuß zum Domplatz. Frühstück sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Es gibt nur 3 Zimmer. Sehr familiär. Das einzige, was etwas besser sein könnte, ist das WLAN. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Sackpfeifenmühle und kommen gerne wieder."
