"The pictures show thatched roof buildings, but we were placed in concrete structures with no charm despite the hotel not being remotely full. The real horror show was the restaurant. Service took over 1 hour to deliver food and al food came with missing components - no bacon on the bacon cheese burger, meat loaf instead of a burger, and schnitzel that was not thined basically a pork chop in batter"

"It's outrageous that Aloegrove has a rating less than 5 stars! If you are driving to Etosha or back from Etosha, stop at Aloegrove, and stay two nights. Aloegrove is a decent drive off the B1, but it is more than worth it. Johan and Ivy have build a marvellous lodge with Comanding views over the surrounding countryside. "We had a wonderful time at Waterberg Wildness. We stayed in the Valley Lodge. Note that there are several different lodges all a few km apart.
