Check-in was good, the hotel room was clean but really needs an update; outside premises need a good clean-up, there was an old mattress, old kids bicycles lying outside, there was even a toilet; carpets in the lobby needs replacement or at least a shampoo

Overall, staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice, and bed was comfortable. Only minor issue was showerhead was damaged, so it sprayed water out of the back and flooded the bathroom. Minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but would have been annoying if I'd been there more then one night.

This place was very dated, beds were very old where I was leaning into the middle because they were so old. (no support) Dogs barking all night, couldn't sleep. (I guess they allow dogs) Very unsafe area as well. Front desk attendant was very pleasant. Don't stay here.

Motel 6 in Whitby is remarkably clean and presentable establishment. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and personable. They made you feel welcome and answered every question instantly and professionally. The location is super convenient with a bounty of restaurant options within walking distance. The spacious parking lot is well lit for anyone arriving after dark. The rates are unbeatable and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Our room met our needs and was pretty clean. The area is safe and quieter than I expected in light of its location right next to the 401. There are numerous restaurants close by, which is very convenient. However, it's definitely a "budget" place and the property as a whole is showing its age. The room we ended up with was fine, and in a quieter part of the building. But the first room we were assigned was on a noisy and somewhat dirty hallway, and had not even been cleaned yet, despite our evening check-in.

Staff was nice, room clean. Did not have a microwave in room, so had to use communal one in lobby. Beds not very comfy. Outside property had lots of trash on grass. 2 accessible parking spots were taken up by cars that looked like they haven’t moved in months. One had flat tire.

Clean, well organized hotel. Did not like receptionist trying to convince me to take two rooms with a single bed each instead of the one room with two beds I had reserved. That would have been far more expensive and would have separated my wife& I. Also did not like the $200 damage deposit.
