"Fabulous stay at Hotel Lumbarda - within walking distance to many vineyards providing tastings of local Grk. Hotel staff are amazing and so friendly - ask anything and they will try and help. Breakfast and Dinners were very good and reasonable price. Would definately return. "

"This place is about 30 min walk from the old town/port. But you can use a taxi boat for about 3EU per person which is convenient. It looks like something between a resort ans a camping. A lot of facilities, grocerie 3 min by feet, pool, etc. We loved it. "

"Great hotel. Stayed in a 1 bedroom unit. Ask for upper level for additional privacy. The infinity pool was clean and well maintained. 2 beaches...one pebble and sand. Beaches were clean and amazing for a swim. We did not do the all inclusive option. Had the buffet dinner. Was tasty with a nice selwxtion of hot and cold items. Had one dinner at the " fine dining option" on the beach. It was ok. Spent lots of ti.e at the beach bar/casual dining restaurant. Great relaxed atmosphere for a drink. The water taxi is availlable at dock for a quick teip into old town. 3euros. Would highly recommend this resort."

"The hotel has a charming and cozy feel to it. Located in a pedestrian strip right by the ocean, guests have access to what is basically an exclusive part of the beach, with sunbeds available for use (free of charge). The restaurant is very nice, with some tables placed on a relatively high deck by the water, which makes for some very pleasant meals. Despite being a Michelin rated restaurant, we thought the dinner was quite underwhelming. Breakfast on the other hand was amazing, with excellent variety in the best "Swedish" style, including muesli, nuts and grains, fresh fruits and filtered coffee. Overall we had a very relaxing stay at Marco Polo after our week-long road trip around Croatia. The area has some very nice restaurants and bars."
