There were laundry options and the kitchen was fully equipped. It's location was perfect for us being within walking distance of shopping, the wharf, a supermarket and restaurants. "The hotel is in the perfect position just down from the wharf. It has plenty of parking. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little old but absolutely clean, the beds are plush with plenty of pillows and doonas. The bathroom is well equipped and clean with a shower only. There was a bit of noise in the hallways at night so sound does carry, but not the hotel's fault. Would def recommend this hotel to others and stay here again if I was visiting the Bay of Islands. "
