Very well kept property. Clean and modern inside. Nice place for the area and especially convenient for bicycle riders doing the alps to ocean trail. They offer bike storage and charging. It is a small town and not many dining options at night.

This was such a lovely stay for me and my friends! Big Sky Motel is located conveniently between Mt. Cook, and Wanaka, with clay cliffs near by and a very relaxing hot tub experience also in the town. It’s the perfect stopping point after a long day of hiking!

Lovely, clean motel room with equipped kitchen. There is also an outside grill and laundry facilities available on site. There's a grocery nearby for food supplies. Great location to stay if going to Mt Cook. The Clay Cliffs in Omarama are also close.

On the outskirts of this small village where services appear to close early. Hotel is not the easiest place to find being within a residential area.

Small overpriced unit not value for the money
The unit was not value for the money. We stayed in unit 8, which had modern and clean fittings although the furniture was crammed in. The managers were very pleasant. The small unit only had one outside view which face a wall which made it depressing to be in.
