"My husband and I stayed in a deluxe Bosphorus bridge view room on the 10th floor for 2 nights. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The staff were helpful and the room price was reasonable. The hotel is close to many restaurants. The Bosphorus yacht cruise (Velena Travel) recommended by the concierge was great. "The Fairmont Quasar Istanbul was a great hotel to stay at while I vacationed in Istanbul. The hotel is located off of a busy freeway. If you happen to have a room that faces north like we did, you will hear sirens from emergency vehicles quite often, however Istanbul is a very large busy city, and most hotels that you stay at would be similar. If you can manage, try to get a room facing the south for a fantastic view of the Bosphorus river, and a quieter room experience. "

"The place is good and affordable and the staff are friendly but i didn't have a comfortable sleep as the rooms are not sound proof and there were people talking loudly in the room next door until 3am. Fortunately after my complaint the hotel people stopped them but then got woken up on the sound of construction work next door early morning (eventhough it was Sunday)"
