Leonardo Hotels, Old Town Zürich hotels

"This hotel is located in the heart of the Altstadt (Old City) area of Zurich. As such, it is surrounded by historical buildings and lots of architectural eye candy. The area is obviously touristy, so prices are higher, but there are many dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel is nicely appointed. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. Breakfasts were cooked to order (eggs), with many other options available (continental). The only gripe I had was that the en-suite bathroom/shower/toilet was separated from the sleeping area with sliding glass doors - too personal and close to the sleeping area. They provided bottled water in the room every day. The WiFi was good. There's an in-room safe available. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, transport options, etc. Highly recommended!"

"From now on this is my go to hotel in Zürich! It’s in a great central location (really convienient for the main train station). I had a spacious and suprizingly cozy room. Its location does mean you always hear the inevitable buzz of the city even in the small hours, but it’s never too obtrusive. "

The room was spacious even by US Standards, with comfortable beds and sofa. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff was very helpful. We will be back and we will recommend this hotel as a great hotel and great value in Zurich."

"The hotel is centrally located to old town and new town. It’s adjacent to the train station and the beautiful river! The hotel accommodations are renovated and very comfortable. The restaurant is delicious and also lively in the evening with music. We went for the Christmas markets and they were easy to get to and SO WORTH it! "
