"The Shoals is really such a cute place. The rooms are spacious and very clean. My sisters and I stayed here for the second time in November. Last time I stayed during the week and it was very quiet. However this time we had someone staying next to us and you can hear the TV like it’s in your room as it is up against your bed wall and just someone walking was loud. "The hotel is majestic and on the water with beautiful views. The staff was without exception incredibly attentive and friendly- from Sara and Matthew at the front desk to the gentleman who helped us with the fireplace to Mike and the other valets who took care of the car. Wonderful experience!"

"This place is a gem and the service was extraordinary. The bed was super comfy and the room was amazing. Unfortunately, we did not have dinner (although the menu looks good). We did have the brunch - which was very good. Next time (and there will be a next time) we'll check out the dinner situation."

The room was clean & comfortable with a big picture window looking out on a little pond and trees sporting colorful fall foliage. There was a load of parking and there's a fun restaurant Cuckoo's Nest Mexican a short walk from the lot. Shopping areas are just five minutes away in either direction. The ocean is a quick five minute drive away as well. "

"I was impressed by the room. Clean and fresh no stale soap smell. Women doing cleaning came every morning even though I said I didn’t need anything in my 3 day stay she checked and reminded me to ask at the desk and she would take care of it for me. Friendly people. Wonder how it is in summer."
