"Coimbra is a very busy city with a lot of traffic that clearly creates ongoing parking challenges and general congestion. The property itself is hard to access but once you’re in, is quite good. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent with a particularly good bathroom. The hotel has many group bookings and insufficient elevators so expect a wait at reception or getting to/ from your room. I arrived at 1:30pm or so, and since my room was almost ready I was given the option to wait in the kitchen, which I did. Amazing stay

"This is a marvellous beautiful two level room equipped with all amenities including a jacuzzi.The view is absolutely stunning. The service is excellent. The lady ( sorry I forgot the name) was very helpful and pleasant. She helped with our luggage and parking site. On check in we were served with wine and cakes. Breakfast was served in the room with plenty of foods. We were given some cookies as a goodbye gift. Well done. Other hotels should take note of this gesture and follow suit. "
