We asked for a noon checkout, and they said okay. Then the Mexican cleaner came banging at our door at 11:10 am and woke up my wife. She claimed that the front desk didn’t tell her about the late checkout. I went downstairs and the front desk said they had done so. Both blamed the other and neither accepted responsibility. Not good!

I found something Unidentifiable in one corner behind a chair,on the Rug and it was obvious a Vacuum hadn't rolled over that floor. There was a HUGE section or popcorn ceiling missing above the AC, and a literal hole in that same area. Shower Gel was empty, which means someone didn't do their Job. When I mentioned these things upon checkout, I was told they're under Renovation. Really! I saw comments of Renovation, last year. This Hotel is horrible, and now I know why it was so cheap. The seating is so uncomfortable, with the two chairs, that I couldn't sit still in either of them for more than 15 minutes at a time. Never again!

The window in our room (309) had no curtain therefore sleeping soundly was out of the question. Our room faced HOOTERS and other establishments that lights stayed lit all night. I reported to front desk in hopes they wouldn't rent again until fixed. Carpet seeds cleaned or replaced. Although handicap accessible most would have to avoid climbing over side of tub to shower. Need some walk-in showers available for those people. Bathroom door when left open would swing all the way open blocking entrance door and would render rescue totally impossible. BIG safety issue that makes me wonder how this has not been reported/fixed by OSHA and state inspectors. Swing door into bathroom or the opposite direction to avoid this safety concern.

Felt like area was pretty safe, but did see a few homeless individuals walking around. Inside facility was clean, but could use a little updating. Ceiling texture was coming off, tub was older and stained. Overall, these things didn't affect a positice stay. Great amenities in the rooms. Staff was excellent! Breakfast was good.

Shame on Hilton - This Property Should Be Retired
First, the lady at the front desk was super nice when we checked in. She was by the far the classiest act in this place. The property looks updated on the outside, but the inside is a relic from years gone by. All the furniture needs to be replaced or refinished - just terrible. The couch was heavily stained, ceiling was messed up where it looked like something had leaked years before, but never refinished, the AC looked terrible, sink was chipped and cracked, milk machine in kitchen was broken with milk sitting on top of ice and not surrounded by ice. Just simply terrible. I have been staying at Hampton and Hilton for years. This property should have lost it's flag years ago - shame on you Hilton!

Overall very poor condition not worthy of Hampton name. Ceiling issues.
AC unit looked like it about 5-years past retirement. Also boxed in raw wood at bottom (not shown).

It’s looking a bit old and sad with cracks in the walls in the room which had been badly repaired and painted with paint that didn’t match the rest. Bottom fitted sheet was too small. Elevator doors badly scratched on the inside. Carpet squares in the room were frayed. Fridge was very noisy. However, breakfast was great!
