Ocna Sibiului Holiday Rentals

"I really loved the fact that I could upgrade to a 4* apartment for a reasonable fee. The room was absolutely gorgeous, with a very large and comfortable bed. The bathroom and room were very clean; basically nothing beats a recently built property where you feel that things are new and very clean. I also loved the fact that it was very warm in the room, it helps to have excellent heating in the middle of winter when temperature hits negatives. I loved the lobby, too; very London vibe to be able to sit there and work in the morning. The breakfast is also very nice and I personally loved the mushrooms and the ikra / taramasalata they had. Probably one of the best I've had ever. The breakfast is a combo of English and Continental; the basics of scrambled eggs and bacon were good, but also some specific Romanian dips were there. I really liked the fact that the breakfast was included and I did not have to pay for it separately. The other thing I loved is that they have a restaurant next to the hotel and I could have dinner there; they have a very diverse menu, can't imagine that someone would not find something that would make them happy there: I decided to try the hamburger and it was delicious. The people at reception was super nice and accommodating; I needed extra batteries for my medical device and they provided them at no extra cost. Overall, a great stay for me, and I will definitely come back this summer for the garden and the spa that will be opened in a few months!"

"Loved our stay at Rosen Villa. Before we even arrived, the staff reached out to us with various information and questions about our trip. They sent helpful pictures and directions for check in, and they sent info about the breakfast they serve. We were so glad to add on the breakfast for our first day in Sibiu. The buffet was amazing, full of meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, traditional dips, jams, and so much more. We did not have to have lunch that day! The next day we ate out at a lovely local restaurant (George's) recommended by Stefan. The staff at RV went above and beyond for us, helping us find our way to fun things to do and see in the town, but they also were so helpful with anything that came up with our rooms (for instance the shower was too hot!). But one thing we really, really noticed about the hotel was that it was so clean. The room and the bathroom were so clean! Thank you, Rosen Villa for the perfect stay in your great town of Sibiu! We hope to be back again! "

"The property is good value for money and is within walking distance of the city centre. Note that the sauna and Jacuzzi need to be booked and paid for separately. The cost for these facilities is per person, not per hour booked. The breakfast is on the 11th floor of the building, with a lovely view of the city. The breakfast options are good. The reception staff work hard."
