"A great choice of different pools to where you can relax, have a drink and meet people. Having access to both sides of the resort was great via a short bus ride. There are quite a few restaurants options, however, we found only the sushi restaurant really stood out. There’s a speakeasy as well, which is fun. The bartenders at the swim up bars can seem a little gruff and uninterested, but that’s our only critique. The hospitality staff were friendly and excellent. "

"Hibiscus Lodge is magical! I've been twice and plan to return as many times as i can. It's definitely not a 5 star hotel, but i love it. The gardens and the landing where you can walk out into the sea are my two favorite spots. The restaurant serves excellent food, and breakfast is included. The area around the hotel is a little seedy by American standards, but i felt safe there, even traveling by myself. The bartenders, Dion, Danvil, and Jatavia, were wonderful and took very good care of me....

"This hotel is a different world, and one of the few places where they have every detail down perfectly. The service could not be better, and if you’ve been to Jamaica previously and seen the sights, there simply is no reason to leave the hotel grounds. We especially like Cottages 3 and 4, but have not stayed in a bad room yet. The private beach is perfect, as is the beach bar (“Teddy’s”). Croquet, anyone? Please don’t forget to pack your whites. The kitchen runs smoothly, and the menu is varied....
