The property was great. The breakfast was good as far as the location. It was not in the best neighborhood, but it was gated so I felt safe inside the compound.

As a woman travelling alone, this hotel made me feel safe. the staff are so lovely, so welcoming and helpful & everyone helped to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms are of the highest quality & i felt like a Queen stretching out in the big bed. it was worth every penny & when i come back to Ocho i will definitely stay again. Food was excellent & the decor & ambience was 20/10. close to all the shops & beaches i was sad to have to leave xx

I loved the staff. From the female security guard that greeted me upon my arrival, the front desk staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping. Everyone was a pleasure. I loved my room and the pool being steps away. I have no complaints and will definitely return. Food and drinks were delicious as well.

Great stays and amazing staff @ Sago Palm.
My stay at Sago was really great overall. The location is fantastic and the staff is amazing!! Christopher at the front desk in particular was very helpful during my stay. My friends and I ran into an issue and the hotel manager—Yoland remedied the situation to our complete satisfaction and actually went above and beyond my expectations. This was my second stay at Sago and I was very happy on both occasions. Their breakfast is wonderful as well as their pool.

My stay was lovely upon arrival. Everyone was kind and accommodating. I decided to eat at the restaurant for dinner wit my family and the wait staff and chef colluded to overcharge me. I brought it to the attention of the hotel manager. They basically charged me separately for the sides that are included with the meals. I didn't order any extra sides. They intentionally overcharged me, not expecting me to check. She recalculated my bill which ended up being $25USD less. It was an awful experience. I am sure they have done this many times before to foreigners. The chef comes out to laugh and smile with the patrons and encourage wait staff to cheat people. This incident ruined my trip. The other, issue was the noise from a club nearby. The noise was unbearable and straight through the night. This hotel is in an awful location because of noise.
