"This hotel is a different world, and one of the few places where they have every detail down perfectly. The service could not be better, and if youā€™ve been to Jamaica previously and seen the sights, there simply is no reason to leave the hotel grounds. We especially like Cottages 3 and 4, but have not stayed in a bad room yet. The private beach is perfect, as is the beach bar (ā€œTeddyā€™sā€). Croquet, anyone? "Hibiscus Lodge is magical! I've been twice and plan to return as many times as i can. It's definitely not a 5 star hotel, but i love it. The gardens and the landing where you can walk out into the sea are my two favorite spots. The restaurant serves excellent food, and breakfast is included. The area around the hotel is a little seedy by American standards, but i felt safe there, even traveling by myself. The bartenders, Dion, Danvil, and Jatavia, were wonderful and took very good care of me....

"My second time staying in this unit and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. The property is well maintained and the unit is clean and comfortable. While Iā€™m on vacation I still have a touch of home by being able to make a meal if Iā€™d like, or hang out on the front patio to enjoy the breeze coming off the ocean. "The thing I appreciated most was the courtesy of the staff. From the front desk to the housekeepers. Only complaint is breakfast could be a 'solid', for the lack of a better word.
