"As a woman travelling alone, this hotel made me feel safe. the staff are so lovely, so welcoming and helpful & everyone helped to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms are of the highest quality & i felt like a Queen stretching out in the big bed. it was worth every penny & when i come back to Ocho i will definitely stay again. Food was excellent & the decor & ambience was 20/10. close to all the shops & beaches i was sad to have to leave xx "

"This property was clean and convenient to everything including shopping, restaurants and most of all the beach! About that, the hotel gives free access and towels to ocho rios bay beach tjat is literally next door which saves guests US25. Factor that into the cost of a room at the hotel and that's a steal for sure. "The place was centraly located, great value and clean. I didn't like that the room was ready but the owner will not let you access before 3:00pm. I was there with other and they were able to access their room but my wife and I had to sit outside for an hour for no reason."

"I like Skycastles and Columbus Heights and stayed many times in this past. Its views are exceptional. This particular place was cheap. It had a futon for a sofa and plastic chairs for dinning and old seating outside. There were loads of locked spaces and it seamed cramped."

"The thing I appreciated most was the courtesy of the staff. From the front desk to the housekeepers. Only complaint is breakfast could be a 'solid', for the lack of a better word. Instead of just coffee and toast. Eggs fried or boiled. Or calaloo , saltfish. Nothing expensive. Anyway I enjoyed my stay and have shared my experience with others. "

"Hotels.com messed up with communicating with the Hotel. They did however agree to a refund. I did get a room when someone canceled. Apartment was quite nice and comfortable. Location was great, close to entertainment and beach and town center. Overall experience was very satisfactory. I recommend this as an inexpensive, lovely hotel experience. "

"Gruesome dreadful property which needs gutting .. kitchen cupboard need ripping out and property needs a good update. DO NOT book this apartment .. we stayed only one night then fled…. Pictures do not depict the actual true state of the property and the managers could not care less … saw cockroaches.. cobwebs everywhere.. old broken furniture… spend your money elsewhere "
