"Beautiful 400 year old property inside castle villa of Óbidos in Portugal. Great experience. Don’t bring a lot of luggage as the parking is a ways and you will need to carry your bags or roll them on cobblestone road. "

"My husband and I spent a night in Obidos, and I wanted to to stay inside the walls of the city. The hotel is small and simple, which I was looking for. The hotel was ok for one night. Big plus, it was very clean. Personnel was not very welcoming, except for the breakfast lady, we had the place only for us. Location was definetly the best feature of this hotel."

"The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and really nice. Loved the balcony. The only complaint I have is that the wall separating the bathroom from the room was glass and not private enough. When I opened the light to go to washroom in the middle of the night it lit up part of the room where one of the beds was located waking up my daughter who was sleeping. Just an impractical design."

"Our kids aged 7 and 12 wanted to move in for real. We did not make use of the spa's many services so our stay really felt like it was in a suburban home. Private carport. You would need a car or willingness to resort to taxis if you want to go anywhere; bicycles however are available free of charge."
