The municipality of Oberstdorf consists of the main town with its large pedestrian precinct and shops of all kinds, plus a lot of sleepy little villages. In the village of Rubi towards the north you will find homely restaurants where you can really spend time enjoying the sunshine during your trip to Oberstdorf. Kornau, at an altitude of 915 metres, is very attractive with unusually ornate façades on the houses. In the centre of Schöllang is the parish church with its onion dome. The village has spa gardens for rest and relaxation.
