Lovely centrally located hotel in Oberstdorf

The staff at this hotel, both Reception and at Breakfast, were excellent. Very friendly and willing to assist when required. This hotel is so well located in the centre of Oberstdorf. You could not ask for better. We had a large bedroom with an excellent shower and toilet facility. Nevertheless, two areas to point out. This hotel does not have a lift and therefore is a problem for less physically able personnel. Although we had a large bedroom with all the usual bits and pieces, the room was in real need of some TLC, especially the carpet which was in a pretty poor condition.

Fabulous all round

We chose to stay, having done so about 6 years ago, and as before this was a wonderful hotel in every way. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are large with comfy beds (we had a Mountain View room), and the breakfast is fantastic. We ate in the restaurant on one evening, which was really nice too. We used the hot tub and sauna every day, but being brits we aren’t so sure about the “nakedness” of this facility! Not for us…. Anyway, great hotel in a perfect location, and enough parking available once you suss out the way by car to the hotel in the pedestrian zone. Basically, highly recommended and we hope to be back sooner than the next 6 years. Thanks to all staff in the hotel. We even had a pack up breakfast for the final day as we had to leave for Munich airport before breakfast started

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Essen hervorragend! Einziger Kritikpunkt:, Der Teppichboden war nicht ganz unser Geschmack. Der Service im Restaurant war okay, könnte jedoch etwas freundlicher sein. Besonders in einem bayerischen Wirtshaus würden wir eine authentische, bayerische Atmosphäre ohne italienischen „Grummelbär“ bevorzugen. Insgesamt aber eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!"

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Saunalandschaft mit Whirlpool und Ruheraum ist toll. Es gab ein richtig gutes Frühstücksbuffet! Leider entsprach das Einzelzimmer nicht ganz meinen Erwartungen,es war eher eine kleine etwas dunkle Kammer mit Blick auf eine Mauer. Alles in Allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Schönes Hotel, gute Lage.

Wichtige Info: Die Zimmerbeschreibung von Hotel.com stimmt nicht mehr mit der des Hotels überrein. Der Whirlpool kann seit 2 Jahren nur noch als Badewanne benutzt werden. Wir freuten uns auf den Whirlpool im Zimmer und würden dann vor Ort leider enttäuscht. Das Hotel sonst und auch das Zimmer war sehr schön. Das Personal sehr freundlich und das Morgenbuffet liess auch keine wünsche offen.

Es hat alles gepasst, Vom empfang bis zum Restaurant. Die Küche hat michelinzeichnen. Ich würde auch im ort nicht woanders essen gehen:) Das zimmer war schön eingerichtet,fuer 3 personen völlig komfortabel. Immer wieder gern.
