"Gebucht für eine Nacht an einem Wochenende um ein Langlauf zu machen. Angedacht war ein Komfort-Apartment, wobei ich den Zusatz KOMFORT komplett vermisst habe. Spartanisch, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und eher einfach trifft es korrekt. Hervorragendes Frühstück sollte man allerdings positiv erwähnen!"

"Ich habe schon ein paar Mal hier übernachtet und kann es uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Besonders schön finde ich die vielseitige Saunalandschaft, den Pool und das leckere reichhaltige Frühstück. "We booked to stay at Haus Saarland am Rennsteig. On arriving at the hotel we found it was closed and a notice telling us to go to another hotel, Hotel Thuringenschanze which was about 0.5km away. Since we had arrived by public transport we had to walk there with our luggage. On checking in at the new hotel we were not offered Oberhof guest cards. This meant that we were unable to obtain the guest card discount when we visited the nearby SkiHalle. We asked to stay an extra night. We paid...

"Das Personal im Restaurant und Servicebereich war ausgesprochen freundlich und serviceorientiert. Die Dame am Empfang beim aus und einchecken war bei weitem nicht auf diesem guten Niveau. Alles in allem stimmte Preis/Leistung. Was die Hygiene betraf, eine kritische Anmerkung: nie sah ich in einem Hotel einen mit solch großen Flecken übersäten Teppich."
