"Our stay was great. The manager was extremely helpful. Their dining room has a beautiful view and dinner was home-made and delicious. They provided an amazing lunch for our walk around Petra and lots of information. Rooms were comfortable, large and clean. The price was great too. We had a great stay!"

"Super location and service at Petra Aretas Hotel! This hotel is just up a steep hill from Petra. Very convenient location and reasonable price. Disclosure: due to the situation in the middle East, we were the ONLY guests in the whole hotel. But even so, the front staff were always friendly and helpful! "I booked this hotel last minute and was originally supposed to arrive after 7 pm, but due to stopping on the road to watch the beautiful stars, we ended up arriving after 11 pm. "The location was perfect - central to the town, with so many restaurants and shops within a very short walking distance. The front desk clerk gave us a breakdown of the three most common ways to visit Petra, and recommended the best of the three. The room was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Breakfast was on par with what you'd expect in Jordan. I would definitely return to this hotel next time I'm visiting Petra."

"We arrived at 0400 and check in was no problem. The suite was large with a separate private patio, seating area and bathroom. We had buffet breakfast each morning which had a wide and varied choice. We sat outside on the balcony and were fortunate that an inconsiderate smoker only sat down once. "The camp is off of a dirt road but there are signs to direct you to it. They were very friendly and helpful at check-in. Buffet dinner is only served at 8 pm and no other food is available so come prepared to wait to eat. Food was delicious. Breakfast was also good. "

"The property and location were decent. There were a pair of shoes left in the open in the room and hair on two of the beds indicating the room hadn’t been cleaned well. Dinner was offered without mention of payment, then when we sat down to eat we were informed there would be a charge. Overall it was a decent stay and very quiet. "
