"I don’t recall for all the years I’ve been staying in hotels that everything was to my liking. Best experience this far. One very odd thing though ,the restaurant/ bar was close on a Sunday evening please fix it. 4.5 stars because of that one discrepancy. Was out all day decided to take a nap woke up for a light dinner and there was none. The staff was perfect , very helpful and sociable ."

"I dislike that I was unaware that there would be a $400 hold even though the rooms were paid for in full. I don't think this is a fault on chateau elan it is on Expedia for not making their customers aware of any potential holds there may be once you get to the property."
