Good spot for a night on the way— simple and clean, with lovely warm service. Probably a bit overpriced but a solid, good option. Food was delicious as well and they accommodated all of our needs.

Clean and Luxurious

Rooms are spacious and clean. Additional bed for child is good. Staff were able to customize food to suit Indian needs(vegetarian)

All good but staff (restaurant) attitude is not good that mach.they are just working not professional. Running and speed louder is too mach.housekeeping and front desk staff is good.some one recommended this place for me.but expected more standard in this hotel.

This is a small hotel, tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of Nuwara. It served our purposes very well. The staff were all very pleasant although the lady on reception didn't appear to have particularly good English. The staff in the restaurant were efficient and hardworking and the food served was good. It served our purposes well for two nights.

large hotel efficient

This is a large hotel and efficient. Rooms were cold at night and we were in a noisy location but that's not the hotel's fault. Loved the Pedro estate tea walk near by.

Good place to rest your head, but needs updating

This hotel is just average. The breakfast was good, but not great. The one thing I liked about the hotel was the sitting area outside our hotel room. My adult family members and I would congregate each evening and have drinks, and kind of happy hour. Other than this, the rooms were a little in need of updating. There wasn't much space in the rooms, and the lamps were in poor shape. However, we made the best of our stay.

Schönes Hotel in dreckiger Stadt

Gegen das Hotel kann man nichts schlechtes sagen im Gegenteil ist schön ,nur hat uns Nuwara Eliya abgesehen von der Natur wirklich enttäuscht . Horton Plains waren klasse

Adequate hotel

We had a two day stay. The hotel was clean and our room quite large. The only fault was the door handle to get into the room and also the bathroom door handle were faulty.

New hotel - still to perfect customer service

This hotel is a short walk into the center of the town. A very new hotel however it was quite noisy. Ask for a room on the top level as this may not be as noisy. Sheets were soiled when we arrived and we had to ask to have them changed

OVER PROMISE - WELL BELOW ANTICIPATED DELIVERY.

Bed hilariously creaky and only fixed at my insistence and then with a club hammer and four inch nails so clearly no maintenance team on site. Mountain view turned out to be crested by a military installation with a five o'clock shadow of aerials, other mountain view obscured by a power line and pole. Handle on bathroom door broken on inside and bolt to lock door shut did not work because door did not fit properly. Meal bought on restaurant very substandard and dull, especially when compared with local prices, service in dining room very good though. I could go on more, believe me. Oh, managers walked about the place dragging their feet on the floor, aaaargh!

Hotel in Erweiterungsphase mit diebischem Personal

Wurde bei meiner abendlichen Ankunft recht gleichgültig und "nicht" wie üblich mit einem freundlichen Willkommen sowie einem Begrüßungsgetränk empfangen. Während meines anschließenden Abendessens wurden mir aus meinem Zimmer dann 5000 Rupies und meine Visakarte geklaut, Umstände, die ich erst am nächsten Morgen bemerkte. Die Hotelleitung tat daraufhin nur zum Schein ihr Mögliches, um den Dieb zu entlarfen. So ließ sie mich "wertlose" Überwachungsfilme ansehen, die gar nicht im fraglichen Zeitraum entstanden waren, wie sich nach 2 1/2 Stunden schließlich herausstellte. Da die Bemühungen der Hotelleitung mit meinem entstandenen Verlust umzugehen absolut kundenfeindlich und ignorrant waren, zeigte ich meinen Diebstahl anschließend bei der Polizei in Nuwara Eljya an. Der ganze Vorfall kostete mich insgesamt einen wertvollen Tag meines Urlaubs. Gott sei Dank ließ ich die Karte gerade noch rechtzeitig sperren, bevor der Dieb bereits einige Stunden nach der Entwendung versuchte Geld abzuheben.
