Terrible Experience

As a frequent traveler who has stayed at numerous Ibis hotels, I was disappointed by my recent experience at this hotel in Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof. The initial impression was very bad due to the unfriendly and unprofessional reception staff. Their behavior was unacceptable and made me question their suitability for customer service.
The room was average, but the bathroom required maintenance, with dents on the door frame and dirty shower walls. Furthermore, the bathroom was incredibly small, comparable to those found in airplanes.
However, the breakfast was acceptable thanks to Maria, the friendly and hospitable staff member in the breakfast area. Her warm smile and attentive service made a positive impact.
The worst part was during checkout. The staff ignored my greeting and failed to wish me a pleasant trip. Their behavior was unprofessional and disappointing.
Suggestions for Improvement:
1. Customer service training for staff, particularly the reception team.
2. Improved cleanliness and maintenance of the bathroom.
3. Ensuring friendly and professional service at all times.
I suggest that Maria, who demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, lead training sessions for the reception staff. Her positive attitude and hospitality would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
As someone familiar with Ibis' standards, I hope this hotel takes my feedback seriously to improve their service.
