"This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."

"Everything was excellent except the way to get to the hotel you need to walk up a steep hill prior to getting to the hotel. It is a little difficult for older individuals. "

The breakfast was delicious and just what I needed with a great selection of vegetarian options as well as a cold meat selection as you would expect in Europe. Different milk options were also available, which I didn’t need but it was great to see. All round absolutely lovely and the staff always said hello with a smile. We had a great stay and would definitely go back. "

"5 star is not enough…they should get a 10!!! From the staff to the hotel…excellent service & super friendly! Breakfast in the morning was outstanding. I would highly recommend!!! When I come back to Zermatt I will definitely stay there. Location of the hotel is perfect!!! Can’t say enough good things!!!"
