5/5 Excellent
Like staying in someone’s home
"This hotel is run by an older Japanese couple and feels like staying in someone’s home. The motel is basically a Motel 6 in style but much cleaner and nicer. Although I speak limited Japanese I felt welcomed. The beds are Western style and very comfortable. The room was very clean. Breakfast was tea, coffee, or apple juice and delicious croissants. I had a nice view of some lovely green rice fields. There were laundry and vending machines. The room was large and spacious. Although it is by the freeway it was quiet. I would say it is a homey and more welcoming place than the Yard, and more restful. "

5/5 Excellent
"I visited the hotel around the same time last year while COVID was still a popular word. The service quality remains high this time though the price is higher which could be expected. We stayed at a room on 10th floor overlooking the sea and enjoying the picturesque view. We had our superb meals served inside our room by a young lady Rika San who was professional. I noticed a whole family of sea lions/ otters(?) swimming in the early morning just around the harbour dam downstair. We opened the windows in the morning while breakfast was served to have a catch of the fresh air. A seagull almost flew in probably being attracted by the smell of grilled salmon! Another time of wonderful lodging experience in the same ryokan, nice!"
