"Hotel Colorado is a charming historic building. It is not, then, a modern hotel. For example, the heating is via an old school radiant heater that has a knob you rotate to turn on/off. The hotel was decorated with lovely holiday trimmings and there were a lot of pretty light displays in the courtyard. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good."

"We were told at the front desk that our room had a mountain view, but it was on the side of the building, not the backside slopes that we asked for. He changed our room to another room on the same side after a 3 hour wait. Very disappointing. Then, dinner at Gessner was an even more disappointing experience. "

"The property is a good value for the price. It is very laid back and a great place for skiers/boarders to stay as it is close to the slopes. It is outdated and doesn't have a lot of amenities - but you get what you pay for, you can go pay more somewhere else if that's an issue for you."

"I loved it. No frills lodging but with all the ski amenities needed. Breakfast in the AM & a quick shuttle ride to Beaver Creek Resort to be on sky slopes in no time. The shuttles ran like clock work too. It was perfect for our needs. "

"Stayed here for skiing in Summit County. Booked early for peak season and got very affordable rate. Beds were comfortable. People upstairs were a bit noisy so not alot of soundproofing between floors. Complimentary breakfast worked to fuel me up for morning of skiing. Nothing fancy but convenient location and functional for ski trip"

"First, they gave us a bed cover that was made for a twin bed. Didn't cover us both and there was no extra blankets. No microwave, the coffee service was terrible. We had krager cups that were terrible coffee. No creamers, no sugars. It was just such a poor establishment."

"I stayed here to be close to ski resorts in the area and not have to pay a very high price. The property is clean and has a pool and hot tub. The breakfast is very basic but adequate. The outlet mall and restaurants are nearby."

"The property was super close ski and ski out was fantastic. The amenities were really great for the kids. Parking was a bit of a bear and I would suggest making arrangements prior to arriving. In addition, the pullout couch mattress really needed to be changed. it was smashed, but other than that it was absolutely fantastic"
