"Value for money. Yes it’s on the A1 but don’t let that bother you. Inside you can’t hear a thing and all bedrooms are on the opposite side and overlooking the fields to Banburgh Castle and the frame isles lighthouse. The property is in a convenient position to get to many places. Such as the Castle, Holy island, Seahouses and Berwick on Tweed. Good is excellent and the staff are great and friendly. Thanks "

"Had a lovely, pleasant stay at Marshall Meadows Manor House. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bedroom was a good size and very clean albeit for a few cobwebs in the corners but a very small criticism. Amazing scenery around and so close to local amenities in Berwick. The breakfast that was included with the room was delicious and a good variety of food to choose from. Get a table next to a window if you can for lovely views of the coast with your breakfast. "Our stay was excellent , our original room was having maintenance work done so we were upgraded to a Boutique suite which was beautiful , staff were excellent and friendly , evening meal in the restaurant was excellent with a nice atmosphere , and the breakfast was spot on and well organised with no queue for anything and was very calm , all in all a very nice stay."

"Great place to stay, with lots of character, especially maritime related. Staff were amazing, very friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with our bathroom and the staff attended to our needs immediately. Fabulous food, the standard and quality was high end at affordable prices. Would definitely visit Seahouses again, and stay at The Olde Ship Inn. Would recommend to others."

While the occasion was a sad one due to a family bereavement, every single member of staff made the pain less, professional and sensitive service, attention to detail and an empathetic attitude, simply superb. "Hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for you, our room (26) was perfect, balcony that looked out onto the castle and the music in the drawing room made a perfect castle atmosphere, breakfast was lovely and the staff even do a guided tour of the place with history information and even a video when you get onto the castle roof, would definitely stay again."
