"We usually stay here and always have fun and a good time. It’s the smaller casino but we usually at least break even and don’t go home losing and this time I actually won a $1300 jackpot within 5 minutes of being at the casino and the hotel let us check in an hour early. "

"I've stayed at various hotels in the Elko area on roadtrips over the years, but this is the first time I've stayed at Shutters. This place is a gem of a property, normal checkout time is noon, free breakfast served until 10am, real food cooked right in front of you, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and extremely friendly helpful staff. Hard to find a negative, wish the the coffee station in the lobby was 24 hrs and more options there."

"We love this hotel. I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman that checked me in on Sunday 1/5/2025. Great lookin dude. Then there’s Christian who remembered us from other visits. Very awesome service and cool as can be! Suzy and Sevi are the morning wrecking crew that take care of all the breakfast and check outs. What a great hotel!"
