"It was ok, but on a very windy night, it was extremely loud, and the sound of the wind/rattling overhead signage kept me awake most of the night. Bed not terribly comfy. Staff was great, no complaints other than wind and a creaky bed."

"Rooms were nice. Flight got in late and our connection was 12 hr wait so we got a room. Everything was perfect except the house cleaner next door coming in and out of the rooms. The door slammed each time. I assume it was the house cleaner. Not sure why a guest would be in and out for hours. Was really looking forward to a sleep in as we got in atound 2am. This was not the case."

"The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking was easy. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was tasty and a good selection for the whole family. "

"Nice amenities and beautiful roof top hot tubs and overall quality of the room- the attached restaurant was fantastic! Close to the airport to see the air traffic coming and going yet only 20 minutes from downtown Calgary. It was a great stopping spot for transitioning to Nunavut! All in all a great overnight stay! "I have to preempt this review by saying all the downfalls of this hotel were mitigated by the phenomal staff! This hotel is tired and worn. We had 3 rooms, each for five nights and each room came woth unique issues all related to the facility, bever the staff or cleanliness. TV remotes that are not compatible with TVs, phones that do not work, non functioning bathroom locks, buckled carpets, peeling wall paper in halls, no USB ports etc. ... lots of asthetic and technological issues. The rooms had small fridfe and microwave, which was convenient. The lobby was huge and welcoming, again dated. Front desk staffed by an fantastic group of women who worked hard to accomodate and provide support to.the visitors. Parking was fine. Breakfast was the typical buffet. Decent, not fancy, functional and filling. It was run by a single woman who did an excellent job and was literally run off her feet each day. We found the location great for our plans. Easy access to Barlow and Deerfoot, close to the airport for those flying in. Worked for our group all from BC. We dod lots in the downton and found the location fine for travel by car. Despite it's shortcomings we would stay there again and heard there are upgrading plans in the works."
