"Please do not stay here! I cannot stress that enough. This hotel moved us around multiple times to different locations within the same hotel. at one point they took us to a new room that required walking a long distance outside in the snow and ice. When we arrived it was the wrong room and was dirty. At this time it was 5 am and we did not want to move rooms again. We agreed to stay until the snow stopped. "We only stayed one night so can’t comment more generally, however the bathroom was very dirty/ mouldy. Surprising for a hotel. The room was reasonable and reflected the price - it was a basement room. I would stay again for the same purpose, but wouldn’t stay more than a night or two if I had the choice. Staff were reasonably helpful but as with many places in China, English is very limited so difficult to obtain help."

"My husband really enjoyed our stay in Beijing. Hotel Kapok is centrally located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. About a 30-60 minute drive to PEK (depending on traffic) and 60-90 minute drive to the Great Wall Mutianyu. The hotel breakfast was really good and had a variety of options.
