"the walk to grocery store was convenient. the rooftop view was fantastic. watching the sunset was beautiful! arriving at night was a challenge. would suggest arriving during sunlight. "

"Property was massive. Tatami room and 2 beds. The room had a moth ball smell that wouldn't go away most likely cause the room has high humidity"

"Fantastic staff, made us feel welcome, even though English was not widely spoken. The area around the hotel offers dining options and public transport link via a bus on the main road, next to a 7/11, Family Mart and Pharmacy. The beach is quiet and it was amazing to enjoy the sunset from the terrace whilst enjoying the complimentary lounge drinks and snacks. Would highly recommend!"

"The suite were beautiful and clean, however in our instance, one of the washroom had broken pipe linking foul odour into the suite. Parking is very limited, therefore in our instance, our parking were taken up by another guest who got more than 1 vehicle. Help desk were very responsive, but only available until 9PM. Because it is next a hill with trees, you need to know bugs and insects are normal."

"We had the most amazing week in onna! The house is beautiful and spacious and the nicest place in okinawa we have stayed at! Would recommend hands down! Would definitely stay there again. Pool was awesome and access to beach and shallows was easy out the door and path. Can't say enough. Absolutely 100% satisfied "

"I thought the hotel is very nice. It has a nice size clean beach, but not one was swimming in it. I also didn’t get to swim myself. People did use the beach for pictures and walking around. It’s long enough for the property, but does not extend beyond that. The hotel does not have a fitness room. The indoor pool requires extra fee. The street has no sidewalk to walk around. There is no bus. Going places requires Taxi rides. My booking includes free taxi transportation from and to the airport which can cost 6,000 to 10,000 yen each way if not included. Breakfast buffet at Hana Hana was excellent. I didn’t eat everything there, but I enjoyed what I ate. The atmosphere was good. It’s a nice relaxing hotel with very little to do. If your goal is to relax and bask in the views and enjoy what the resort has to offer in an environment with few people, it might be a great resort for you. I think the beach and the pool were under utilized when I was there. I would like to see entertainments at night like cultural performances as what they do in Mexico and Hawaii. Also, there are no tours that pick up at the hotel. Besides the breakfast buffet included in my booking, the food was expensive at all the restaurants even with the high dollar exchange rate. Nonetheless, it’s still less expensive than Hawaii. It can help you stay within your weight goal while on vacation though ;) "
