Beautiful property, outstanding suite of rooms ( we stayed in the west wing suite) complete with its own patio. Our host, Mary, was very welcoming and her breakfast cooking was wonderful. We plan to return.

Our hostess was amazing. She made suggestions on what to do and see while in the area and even made arrangements for us to get tickets for the Shaw Festival Theatre. The breakfast was top-notch - delicious, with healthy choices and filling. A beautiful home and a wonderful host. What more could one ask for.

This is the best possible location for a stay in Niagra on the lake. The property is stunning, it's quiet, the view of the water is spectacular, and it's a 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants. There are 3 wings, so max 3 couples can stay here at any time, and therefore lots of personal space for everyone. If you want solitude, but access to everything Niagra on the lake has to offer, this is it.

What’s not to like here. Fabulous modern furniture and artwork throughout. Best location by far in Niagara. Wonderful staff who somehow know what you need and want before you know it yourself. Pricey but worth it. You know you deserve a treat!

Perfection. Extremely clean, Parking on site and easy. Beautiful view. This is a property that is quiet and easy to relax at. At the same time you are walking distance to town and can enjoy the shops. Wendy our hostess saw to our every need. She was terrific. The breakfast was delicious and well thought out. We will definitely be back. Thanks for such a great time.

Somerset Bed and Breakfast is in an ideal location. The home is kept in excellent condition, well lit and secure. Shannon and her husband, who are the homes owners, were our host's for our stay. We lacked for nothing. Beakfast with the other guests was enjoyable Julie made great breafast. Wendy had hot croissants and muffins ready for us to go when our stay was done and we were heading to the airport. Plenty of complimentary convenience. Place was amazingly quiet. The only thing you'd hear at night were the waves of lake Ontario lapping up onto the beach. We were fortunate to have perfect weather which enhanced the touring of the area. If we found ourselves wanting to go back to the area I'd stay here again.

Somerset B&B offers the ultimate bed and breakfast experience in the Niagara On The Lake region. This is essentially a mansion divided into 3 very large and updated rooms upstairs, each with its own living room area, and balcony. On the main ground level is the entrance, dining area for breakfast, and lounge. The grounds in the back even have a small private area beach for guests with a view of both the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. The whole property is immaculate, so keep in mind to bring your own slippers while walking inside the house as there are cubby holes to store your regular shoes while in this beautiful house. I usually see lodging as just that: a place to stay for the night while travelling. In this case, Somerset B&B is a place where I'd like to one day return based on such an impressive property and experience.

Everything about our stay was ideal: beautiful accommodations with stunning decor, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, and excellent care by Darren. It was sheer elegance and amazing service. Feels like home— but elegant and pampered home! All toiletries, robes provided. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to add some slippers. (Maybe not an option with COVID). Jodie was an excellent host and everything was organized and done to perfection. Have been to Niagara on the Lake many times, but this will be our new go-to if there is availability!!!

My wife and I had a great couple days here. Kim was an amazing hostess (and pretty good cook). The place was spotless, spacious and super comfortable. The location is priceless. We will definitely be back and can't wait!

A wonderful stay at this luxurious B&B right on Lake Ontario with views of the lake from your private terrace. Kim was most helpful and brought our excellent breakfast to our room due to Covid19. Comfortable, large rooms with huge windows, beautiful decor and gorgeous public rooms filled with art.
