Beach Resorts in Neyyattinkara

"may have been a good hotel previously but now is rather shambolic . we had to move 3 club rooms within 3 days out of a 6 day stay . the first room we had a terrace that we shared with pigeons, crows and pigeon poo. came back to the room one afternoon to find a crow savaging through the room . the second room was next to an external event space which orevebted us from sleeping the whole night . management agreed to refund 2 nights stay . after 2 weeks we are still waiting for the refund. they found all the readons in the world not to refund the amounts to my card on the departure day. this was a terrible stay . this hotel simply destroyed my vacation "

"Bathroom was stinking and sink had cracked. Hard to set water temperature in shower. Staff was not courteous. The elevators were not secured"

" Overall good experience Couple of noteworthy items 1. Misleading listing Beach is NOT PRIVATE 2. Shipping Port The port right next to the hotel with the ongoing construction work (which went on even through the night) is noisy and is a blotch on an otherwise scenic sea view experience"

"the safety. was not great the room i was given has the AC wire put in the plug socket without a plug. just bare wires . it could easily cause a fire or injure someone. the room had black mould on the bathroom ceilings "

"Had a wonderful 1 night stay in gokulam grand in kovalam. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Service was fantastic. Our room was very clean and well maintained. My only criticism is that the activity room could be maintained better. Only the table tennis, foosball and pool table were somewhat usable. The tv didn't work, no proper board games and AC didnt work either. "

"Everything has an old look in the cottage - the view was good but everything from the aircon to fittings were really old and worn out. Getting a Uber from the hotel is a real challenge as there are regular taxi drivers who charge triple the rate waiting at the entrance to turn away our booking. Really frustrating when the hotel can’t help us with this matter."
